![]() Then go to the uses folder usually in the root folder of the booting drive, (C:\Users), open that up and open AppData, then the one folder that for sure holds these credentials is under 'Roaming' (\Roaming\Microsoft\Creden tials). You have to change your view settings in Explorer (File Explorer) and remove the check mark to 'Hide protected operating system files. They are the only email host I have seen this with. ![]() Now - as the one accepted solution above - I believe to be true - i think its an issue with latency or a timing issue with GoDaddy. I again made the 2 credential folders all all contents Read Only. I received a report from customer the prompting has returned. Go Daddy, this took place a couple days ago. We recently upgraded Office to O365 (2016 currently), and are on an Exchange setup with again. No more random prompting for credentials several times a day. I found an answer somewhere that IMAP - timing issue - may cause this.įine. ![]() The solution I found was to make the Credential folders (2) and all they contain, Read Only. I had to research this issue about 5 years ago. We were using Office 2010, Outlook 2010 on all machines for email.
